S&W has specialised in the development and manufacture of piping systems and fittings since 1982. A well-designed modular system provides the basis for plant engineering and can, if required, be adapted to individual requirements with customised designs and very short delivery times. With the unique, formed S&W flange: an moulded flange is a flange that is formed directly on the pipe, similar to a beaded edge. This makes it just as strong as the pipe itself. To ensure stability, the moulded flange is given a further small 45° chamfer. This provides you with a flange connection that is both extremely sturdy and costeffective, and which features perfectly flat sealing surfaces. Rotary pipe distributors/diverters are used for the distribution of bulk materials or for pneumatic conveying. Using a rotary pipe operating within a dust-tight housing, the preselected outlet is positioned by means of a worm geared motor and an incremental encoder. The rotary pipe can be designed without seals or with expansion seals (dustfree version).
