- High fitting accuracy of the individual parts
- More cost-effective than comparable pipe parts with flat flanges
- Lower weight of pipe parts compared to conventional Flanged pipe construction
- All parts can be reused after disassembly
Flanged pipe construction
Advantages:
Execution:
Pipe parts with formed flanges on both sides similar to DIN 24154 T2, some fittings with formed flange on one side similar to DIN 24154 T2, other side with loose flange behind flange similar to T2. For 4 mm pipe construction, all pipe and fittings with welded-on flanges on both sides! (Flanges NW 1120 and 1250 not to DIN 24154)
Description:
A formed flange is a flange that is attached directly to the pipe, as with flanging. Its sheet thickness therefore corresponds to the sheet thickness of the pipe. For reinforcement, the formed flange is given an additional 45° bend.
Sealing:
Sealing is achieved using a 3 mm thick flange seal made of neoprene cellular rubber or self-adhesive 12×4 roll material made of neoprene cellular rubber (roll of 10 m), other sealing materials on request
Nominal widths:
NW 200 to NW 1250 (similar to DIN 24151)
NW 80 to NW 180 with loose flanges or welded-on flanges (on request)
Sheet thicknesses:
Normal steel – 1.5 mm to 4 mm (material DC 01 A)
Stainless steel – 1.5 mm to 3 mm (material X5CrNi18-10)
Surface protection:
Normal steel – powder-coated RAL 7032 (galvanized on request)
Stainless steel – pickled and passivated in a full bath
Pressure shock resistance:
NW 200 to NW 500, 1.5 mm, double number of holes
- Shock pressure resistant up to 3 bar
NW 200 to NW 800, 2.0 mm, standard number of holes according to DIN 24154
- Shock pressure resistant up to 2 bar
NW 200 to NW 800, 2.0 mm, double number of holes
- Shock pressure resistant up to 3 bar
NW 200 to NW 800, 3.0 mm, standard number of holes according to DIN 24154
- Shock pressure resistant up to 3 bar
NW 200 to NW 800, 3.0 mm, double number of holes
- Shock pressure resistant up to 3.9 bar
(with certificate; if pressure shock resistance is required, this must be specified when ordering! Details on request)
Areas of application:
Conduit construction for bulk materials, dust extraction lines, industrial extraction systems, low-pressure conveying, air supply, oil mist extraction systems, bulk materials in the chemical and food sector
